I’m determined to hold on tight to those final moments of summer, but the undeniable chill in the air means the wooden logs and metal fireplace tools are out and we lit our first fire of the season last night!
While I’m not quite ready to leave summer behind and give in to the gradual shift to winter mode, I definitely don’t mind the arrival of relaxing evenings by the fire. Metal and wood dustpan and brush sets are firm favourites here and this beautiful all-in-one solution is great for keeping on top of sweeping away cold ashes, the narrower width pan makes it easier to use in smaller fireplaces.
