Simplifying your food cupboard ..make life easier

Simplifying your food cupboard ..make life easier

As you know by now I'm no domestic goddess in fact I'm lazy by nature when it comes to household chores. Give me a paintbrush and I'll paint all day, but I've yet to gain any zen type satisfaction from cleaning. I do it, when I have to, or normally when we're expecting guests, and I get some satisfaction from it. But it's so short lived... its soon back to its normal chaos and living in an old house, its dusty as soon as you've finished! So I do enjoy it when a change you make to the house actually improves your life for longer than 5 minutes. Keeping our dry foods in these Le Parfait jars not only looks gorgeous but if you're like me and you've reached in the cupboard  for a half opened packet of flour only for it to spill all over the shelves you need to do this too. These pictures are completely aspirational, but doable. Even if part of your kitchen looks like this you'll feel like you're part Martha Stewart. If you have a baking section in your kitchen why not start there , you'll see immediate results. Otherwise, pasta,  rice and other pulses are perfect foods to decant into glass storage jars. And don’t they look lovely!
